According to local reports, the board has voted to begin the purchase of land for the new Monrovia High School. This school will alleviate the overcrowding of Sparkman High School and ease traffic along Jeff Road. The piece of land under review is at the corner of  Pine Grove and Pettus Rd across from Legacy Elementary. 

No word on when an agreement will be reached or when construction will begin. This $46 million dollar facility is sure to boost local home sales and attract more people to the Monrovia area. Read the complete story here
