According to local reports, the board has voted to begin the purchase of land for the new Monrovia High School. This school will alleviate the overcrowding of Sparkman High School and ease traffic along Jeff Road. The piece of land under review is at the corner of Pine Grove and Pettus Rd across from Legacy Elementary.
